In the Middle School (Years 7-10), our boys and girls are taught separately for all core curriculum subjects.

Our commitment to the academic success of each student is clear; the best teaching staff, specialised learning environments and ‘a world of opportunity’ in our academic and co-curricular programmes

As our Middle School students progress to the Senior School, they are offered a choice of two qualification pathways. In Year 11, all students study NCEA Level 1 before making a decision whether to continue with NCEA or study towards an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma

More about these qualification pathways can be read here:

Middle School Course Handbook

The Middle School Course Handbook provides detailed information about the core curriculum and the range of optional subject choices available at each Year level (Years 7 to 10). The Middle School years are a time for exploring new avenues of interest and our students are encouraged to keep their options open as long as possible.
