As an IB World School, at the end of Year 11, our Senior College students decide whether to continue with their NCEA course work or opt for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program for their final two years of study.

Our results in both qualifications have placed us year after year amongst the top performing academic Colleges in New Zealand.  As NCEA and the International Baccalaureate are well recognised internationally, many of our students command advantageous places and scholarships at top universities, in New Zealand and overseas

Whilst students entering the Senior College may not have determined their career direction, it is essential to begin the process of considering future options and areas of interest. Our Student Futures department helps students seek information about the vast range of university courses, apprenticeships and careers available to them. Information about pathways to tertiary courses is also outlined in the Handbook.
