We are really proud to hear that three netball players from the College have been selected in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Team! Head Girl, Sydney Fraser, Mererangi Paul and Tayla Earle have been named in the 12-girl team to compete in the International School Girls Competition at Trusts Arena in May.

Sydney and Old Collegian, Amorangi Malesala have also been selected in the Northern squad for the exciting new Beko Netball League! The competition includes five teams representing each of the Netball New Zealand zones. It has been introduced to develop the country’s emerging netball talent and provide a pathway for players into ANZ Championship teams.

The league will be played over 12 weeks, with 14 of the matches to be televised on Sky Sport. The first game for Amorangi, Sydney and the Northern team is this Sunday, April 10 against Southern. It will be broadcast at 6pm after the Steel v Tactix ANZ Championship game.

Congratulation to all the girls on their well-deserved selections!
